Will someone explain to these Dumpster-divers that within 2 second after they pull the trigger their fait is sealed.

Have you ever read the Bible? You should try.I have read the Bible many times, but view God only as my backup.
In today's real world, I'm guided by the statement, God helps those who help themselves.
Just saying.

This war was supposed to be two days ago. Is it over already? Who won?

The conflict, he said, "will be more like a war between cities than a war on the battlefield." That's a pretty huge assumption, pal.

Yeah, but the circumstances were quite different. In that case, there were a handful of relatively inaccurate missiles. Also, the US was trying to hold together a fragile coalition and was pressuring Israel not to respond While that could happen again, I don’t see Bush making that request for the likes of Assad.

AMOS CHAPTER 1
3 THUS saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron:
4But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, which shall devour the palaces of Benhadad.
5I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the LORD.

That’s fine... I was only pointing out that the absolute statement used by the previous poster was false.

Hmmmm there is prophesy that suggests Damascus(Syria) will be a dung-heap forever..
Could be a radioactive dung-heap..
The govt in Damascus has yet to do something intelligent..
They are not known for making intelligent decisions..

FOURTH TIMES DAMASCUS IS TOAST
I agree that their efforts failed miserably, but Damascus itself hasn't been turned into 'a ruinous heap.' YET.
What seems ironic is that this un-named Syrian seems to think Israel isn't able to withstand a 'war of attrition.' What does this person think Israel has been in a basic state of since it's inception?
What is also funny or pathetic is that these Arabs can take all their ass-whoopings by Israel and with a straight face and then say they were victorious. I suppose after Israel turns Damascus into rubble, Syria will declare victory and withdraw to the hills.

So, are the syrians going to play Soddom or Gomorah this time?
To: Reagan is King
I would agree with a preemptive strike, but that would probably draw in other arab countries against Israel. Let the Syrians cast the first stone, then the IDF has the right to self defense and the rest of the world can’t say Boo about it. The Syrians would have to be nuts to start something with a large contingent of our air power over there.

"This will be a war of attrition, which the Israelis are not good at," he explained. No need to be when...
They kick yer ass all over the landscape!!
