Females have the most to gain, at present knowledge, from getting the innoculation. Males really ought to get it, as well, since the goal is to eliminate it from the rising generation. We may find that HPV has long-term health problems for male carriers, as well.

I guess libertarianism is all very well until one's daughter gets infected by some infected boy somewhere, and can't be cured of the virus.

They should have started the campaign to vaccinate with testing and informing all those who are already infected and should be aware of their hugely increased chances of cervical cancer (very few cases of cervical cancer are unrelated to HPV).

I've just thumbed through my handy-dandy pocket sized copy of the US Constitution and for the life of me I can't find one single word that authorizes the Federal government to force me to put anything into my body.

Maybe you ought to pop on over to the FR homepage and give the Mission Statement a read.
