The group consisted of people already backing McCain and several of the social conservative candidates in the race such as....California Rep. Duncan Hunter...

Wonder if they met in a phone booth.

No reason for the 1-3% crowd to keep mucking up the process of picking a leader that is capable of holding the White House. Either they start showing up, or start shoving off.

Since Fred isn't an announced candidate...his "support" has to be zeroed out. It is not legitimate to say he has ANY until he actually gets in the same ring, and takes his clearly impending lumps.

The Richard Viguerie dissection of his history is terminal for Fred's candidacy. Every single one of these South Carolina people need to get behind the only legitimate conservative running. And we all know who that is. The only one who consistently has sought to defend our borders, our troops, and our industry.

If someday, Fred runs, he might make on okay vice-President.

“The Richard Viguerie dissection of his history is terminal for Fred’s candidacy.”

Come on now, NO ONE ELECTABLE is conservative enough for Viguerie. At least that’s my take on it.

“Every single one of these South Carolina people need to get behind the only legitimate conservative running. And we all know who that is. The only one who consistently has sought to defend our borders, our troops, and our industry.”

Yes but Duncan Hunter, while a legitimate conservative, has only slightly more of a chance than I do, and I have not nearly the money nor the name recognition.
