The beauty of the predators is that they fly as the crow flies and do not require cumbersome supply trains. I think it is truly a technological innovation that will be noted by history because it negates the huge advantage guerrilas have had in going into mountains. That is probably why there is outrage round the world when we use them. It’s just not fair. /s

Just wait until the military deploys and then arms the currently under development ISIS airships.

Remember that the Predator was originally a recon drone.  Think of an "all seeing" airship up above the envelope of all but the most sophisticated air defense systems.  Then put simple smart weapons on board that can be dropped on detected enemy movements or encampments.  Pretty amazing possibilities.

I can see Chaney from his undisclosed location thubs going wild on his joystick controller as he zooms in on a Taliban supply train crossing the Pak border (i.e. a camel and a mule). Boom boom.
