Then I looked at the company name and knew about the chili sauce recall but decided not to take a chance on the Cattle Drive Chili.
A few hours later sure enough the FDA was on CNN saying it is much worse and anything that was on that line to be canned is to be double bagged and tossed if opened.

I was going to say I’ll stick with good old Hormel Chili made here in Minnesota, then I looked at the can. It states that it is distributed by Hormel Food Sales. Nowhere on the can does it say where it is actually made.
I just e-mailed their customer service asking them where their chili is manufactured.
I wish that information was included on all of our food.

There are only three basic ingredients to chili, being beef, tomatoes and onion. Everything else is just seasoning.
Home made is best of course, but the Bush’s chili is very good, especially served ‘Cincinnati style’ (over spaghetti with shredded cheese and chopped onions)...MMMMMM!
