Unless there is some medical contraindication, the usual manner of performing a colonoscopy includes sedation and someone to drive you home. They frequently use midazolam (Versed) which has some amnestic properties and most people don’t remember much about the procedure. The DO however tend to remember the bowel prep.

that is so true, the nastiest tasting stuff I have ever had to drink in my life.., always best to have them do the two-fer,colonoscopy and the esophagus and stomach.
