What about the bullets? Can they be carried in the same pack?
Yes they can. The Statute states that the firearm must be 'unloaded and in a case'. That's all.
So the piece goes in one pocket and the mag or speed loader goes in another, usually my pants pocket.
It's not ideal, but it's better than nothing.
