That is ancient history and its about a haplessly lame duck who is beyond lame, but a double amputee. The party fed us a bill of goods of the wonders of nepotism, how wonderful it will be 2 presidential elections ago.

And he seemed plausible after the totally lackluster Dole the party hacks put up against bubba’s second term. I wasn’t fooled and I suspect most of you weren’t either; we could all see right through him and saw the glaring lack of ability and superficialism. I hated that I had to vote for someone as dreadful, lest something worse befall the nation.

That cant happen again. Ma Bush ran out of siblings.

Nevertheless the great conundrum before us will not be solved by a justifiable emotional pick of someone who is now polling a fraction of a measly one percent with 4 other losing worthies. And that’s of republicans, not the nation as a whole. Why cannot a devastating fact like that penetrate some skulls here?

The political situation in the USA is dire and deteriorating. The sooner what there is of the DH faithful get real the better for all of us.

You are referring only to President Bush. I was talking about Dole, Clinton, Carter and several others. I believe that the problem is that people here a name on the news over and over and believe that is the person who they can back without finding out what that person stands for.

I no longer believe the “can’t beat ______” arguement. This nation as a whole is being hoodwinked into voting based on all kinds of arguements other than what the candidate believes and what actions back up the candidates words.

I also see that lesser candidates can have a large impact on the nominee even if they do not get a majority of the votes at the convention.

By the way, I am a Hunter supporter. I have looked at what the man has done over the last several years.

That said, I am not against most of the Republican candidates, but I am against some. I can not see any difference between Rudy and Hillary. Not even honesty.

McCain is going further and further to the left as the years pass. Add to that that he is out for himself. I don’t think he really cares about anyone else. I can not vote for either of these 2 and have my conscience intact.

I don’t know a lot about Romney, but I really have to wonder about him after the gay marriages he helped along in Mass. and other of his actions.

I agree that Hunter is very low in polling. That does not mean he has not done a good job as a Government servant.

I do not know if Fred Thompson or Newt Gingrich will get in the race, so I will not comment on them.

The rest I have some strong agreements with and a few disagreements with.
