The UAE’s assistance could have been bought differently. I believe that is where the mistake was made. The second mistake was Bush not telling those that influence this country that something was afoot. Finally, saying that the UAE ain’t helping us now MAY BE a cover. I believe you are wrong about Rush. If I remember correctly, he tried to clarify what the deal involved and how it would be harmless. Of course he did not know the beneficial side.
