TACOMA – Pierce County prosecutors plan to file a charge of aggravated first degree murder against Terapon Adhahn for the kidnapping and murder of 12-year-old Zina Linnik of Tacoma.
Adhahn will be arraigned Monday at 1:30 p.m. After the arraignment, Prosecutor Gerald Horne will have 30 days to decide whether to seek the death
penalty, Horne's office said. The only other possible sentence for an aggravated first-degree murder conviction is life without release.
Linnik's family saw her suspected killer for the first time Thursday as Adhahn stood before a judge on multiple counts of rape and kidnapping in two other child rape cases.
Adhahn pleaded not guilty to one count of kidnapping and three counts of first degree child rape for the May 31, 2000 kidnapping and rape of the girl who was found duct taped to a tree at Fort Lewis.
Court documents indicate DNA evidence taken from Adhahn identifies him as the "John Doe" in that case.
Adhahn did not speak in court and did not look back at the victims' family. Bail was set at more than $2 million; his trial is expected to begin September 13th.
Meanwhile, a candlelight vigil for Zina was held Thursday night in Tacoma's Hilltop neighborhood.
Family and friends of the young girl sang and prayed for justice as they walked from Macarver Elementary, where Zina attended, to the alley behind her home where she was last seen July 4th.
Victim's family: suspect the 'biggest monster'
During Adhahn's first court appearance since his arrest July 8th, the victim of the 2000 attack and her family were in court.
Her mother did not mince words.
"My blood went cold. I wanted to go through the door and get him," said Nancy Rasmussen. "He's the biggest monster that was ever created. He needs to be taken to general population and let him get what he was given."

as an aside, our state, and THAT area is widely known for rampant psychos on the loose, thanks to the Democrats who refuse to keep them behind bars. after all, they are victims too.
remember, Joseph Duncan came from Pierce county, and the Fox show COPS filmed in Pierce County for a decade because of the never ending supply of mental cases.
OH, and when Mark Lunsford was here to help pass Jessicas Law....the dems made sure to stand in the way by disallowing vics to testify against perps that are relatives. now come on, stats alone prove that a majority of vics are raped by someone they are related to. but then again, when did dems ever use common sense?

The site I got the above info from is also our local PNW news. NWCN and they have been running the story that this guy was living (with his mom at the time I believe) in the immeadiate area where lil Amber went a missing.
So he is being investigating for that murder.
There was two other little girls from the area who he raped that had thier Moms at the his first court appearance.
He is going to be hit with the murder of the lil girl from July 4, the two seperate girls he raped (one up to 200 times), and they are going to see if he can be DNA connected to Amber from the south.
DNA connects him to 3 victems and who knows what other cases he may be connected to.
His freinds and Mother are just disgusted and have told media how heartsick that this monster lived with them and they didn’t pick up on his evil side.
The court room was filled to the brim with all his victems families.
They are not cutting him any forgiveness slack quite the oppisite.
Calling a spade black and hoping he gets shanked to death in jail soon.

i think he’s worse than gary ridgeway. i hope he gets what he deserves in prison. unfortunately, it may take years for him to be convicted the way our courts work.
