I just want to say that, despite our past differences, I think that this endeavor is a great effort and I totally support what you are doing. I haven't had much time to participate in any way, but I've been keeping track. If I can be of any assistance, let me know.

Keep up the great work.

Hello again,

Just a small update.

The infamous Global Islamic Media Front blog (German edition) is back!! Again it is hosted by Wordpress.
What’s new? Nothing, just a “4” was added...
http://gimf4.wordpress.com/

Wordpress is very reluctant when it comes to shutting down blogs, so the more people send complaints the better. What are you all waiting for? ;-)

Contact address (I won’t post it here because of spammers):
http://whois.domaintools.com/wordpress.com
Look for “Matt Mullenweg”.

By the way, did you see this?
“Über diesen Blog.
Die Rückkehr des Gimf Blog”

“About this blog.
The return of the Gimf blog”

We’ll see about that!

Excellent article which supports our point of view that the terrorists websites and forums must be shut down. The extreme danger that these websites pose far exceed any little intelligence benefit that can be obtained from them if they remain active.

The GIMF blog is down again.

Unfortunatly I missed this interesting info:
“In today’s statement GIMF pointed to a concerted campaign at pressuring webhosts to take down jihadi forums and websites. That effort, they admit, is paying off. In addition to an unnamed individual and the ‘mercenaries’ this person has been able to marshal for the ‘harassment’ effort, GIMF also claims the CIA and FBI are now involved in counter-cyber-jihad efforts.”

Who could this unnamed individual and his mercenaries be?? ;-)
The “brothers” are monitoring this thread. Yes, success!

This is very motivating. Lets not stop before all their websites are hosted in Saudi-Arabia. Oh wait, they are not welcome there. :-D

A very interesting article about cyberjihad:

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20070818.wyarmouthPOINT18/BNStory/Technology/

A few quotes:
“Within a year, Mr. bin Laden would declare that up to 90 per cent of al-Qaeda’s battles would be fought not with guns, but words and images. (The memo, recovered in a raid on an al-Qaeda hideout, is now a public document found on several terrorism-studies databases.)”

“One common method of disseminating anything from a terrorist video game to a bomb-making manual to a beheading video is to make copies available on dozens of free websites at the same time. On these sites, which were created to help people transfer data files too large to e-mail, anyone can quickly create an account – when barred by the administrators of one site, the user just jumps to another. By the time all such sites wise up, the message is all over the world.”

Yes we are hurting them my FRiend and this prove that our approach to shut down the terrorist websites is more effective than keeping them up for intelligence values.

Another proof why we must shut these terrorist websites down.

"If the FBI and CIA have a decoy websites to attract the terrorists, I think they will make sure that the internet provider who hosts it does not shut it down."

Not to worry -- they are "the Internet provider that hosts it"...
