The Senate voted against the John Doe protection amendment, my Senator was one of the dissentors... Here is my fax to him:
To Senator Durbin:
Regarding
S.Amdt. 2340 to S.Amdt. 2327 to H.R. 2669 (College Cost Reduction Act of 2007 ) To provide limited immunity for reports of suspicious behavior and response, the so-called John Does amendment.
Why in the world did the Senator vote no to this amendment?
By what justification did he vote AGAINST a provision which would protect Americans from lawsuits for reporting suspicious terrorist activities?
I have so much contempt for this Senator. He does not represent Illinois thats for sure. Hes a tool of his wrapped demented ideology.
The role of the Federal Government is to protect the people of United States against our enemies. Its really disgusting to have a Senator who apparently sides not with the People.
Shame! Under the Democrats leadership the American people give this Congress a whopping 14% Approval Rating. You people and your rotten agenda are failures. So go ahead and open another investigation on some imagined wrong-doing of Bush and keep failing us, theres still some room to go before you hit ZERO PERCENT. Good work! Im so glad we have people like Senator Durbin to advance the causes of the enemy.
Disrespectfully,
We folks in Illinois have Osama and the Turbin, and Chicago as a sanctuary city to boot.
Donations from John Edwards types - aka “trial lawyers”.
Dem leaders say they were unaware of Petraeus hearing The Hill ^ | July 19, 2007 | Elena Schor
Two Senate Democratic leaders who failed to attend Thursdays Pentagon teleconference with Gen. David Petraeus said they were unaware that they had been invited and questioned the White Houses use of faxes to notify senators of the high-profile briefing....
Murray echoed Durbins puzzlement: It was faxed in our public fax [machine], where thousands of constituent faxes are, she said.
What a great message to Do-Nothing Durbin.
I am so glad we don’t live in Chicago area anymore, but we still live in Illinois and have to tolerate Durbin and his ilk. That would be Obama.
We have to get busy for the next election when these senators come up. The voters, after all, have an immediate availability of “impeachment” for all these senators who are not upholding their OATH of office and that is to keep Americans safe.
But then, they don’t appear to be doing anything much of anything, unless of course, you count their fund-raising stopovers that they call “work in the district.”
I have written both Durbin and Obama on several occasions and it’s disgusting that all I ever get back is a typed page of their stupid talking points. Nothing more than a feeble attempt at justification.
Keep up the good work. You have a friend here in Effingham.
I faxed it to his Washington and Chicago offices.
Frankly I DONT CARE IF THEY DONT READ MY FAX. I sent it. Period.
Osama didn’t even vote. he must have been too busy to vote on matters of importance. (no surprise here, of course).. He’ll be getting a fax tomororw.
“Osama didnt even vote. he must have been too busy to vote on matters of importance.”
Probably standing in line at Borders by the Water Tower waiting in line for the new Potter book.
Gad. You folks are even more stupid than the churls in Vermont.
Did you really say that? :)
“You folks are even more stupid than the churls in Vermont.”
A lttle bit too inclusive there buddy. There’s a least 6-7 conservatives in the state too.
That’s right!
THERE'S A BOMB IN YOUR FAX MACHINE.
;-)
After three or four days, maybe. Such a message would actually have to be seen to cause anyone to react, and they just pile up.
Durbin is an empty head looking for a brain He is a tool of Daley and the Cook County crooks of Illinois.
Yes. It’s a test to see if they’ll read it.
On the average then ~ just enough so to put Turban and Osamabama into office.
Amen! AMEN! AMEN!
Sock it to em with calls and emails FREEPERS.
The traitorous idiots didn’t get a loud enough message with the border fiasco.
