POLICE BLOTTER: Immigrants to be deported after driving wrong way
Three illegal immigrants, Issac Valdez, Noe De Jesus Reyes-Ramirez and Fafny Walesska Arias, were arrested and taken to the border patrol station in San Clemente. They were pulled over for driving the wrong way at the 100 Block of El Paseo on July 9. The vehicle was impounded and they will be deported back to Mexico.

Stupid headline. Of course this is similar to someone with a warrant out for their arrest being stopped for running a redlight. Goodness, if the cops stop you for one thing and then discover you’re breaking some other law you’re going to have to pay the piper.

The local paper had an article about an illegal immigrant who had been deported 3 times and “allowed to leave voluntarily” (whatever than means)11 times. He is now on trial for a DUI accident that killed a man.

I think this headline was intentionally misleading. They say “Immagrants” instead of “Illegal Immagrants” which is a very important distinction. Also, there really is nothing newsworthy about the story!

Also, there really is nothing newsworthy about the story!Yes it is, do you know how rare it is for a cop to actually stop an illegal and take action that gets them deported. Most cops stop at no-speakee-eglish and tell them to have a nice day.
