Actually,I don't. Bad guys are often stupid and sometimes crazy -- and therefore unpredictable. And plenty have seen my in uniform. The disturbing incident of the guy who came at me with the club happened when I was driving with the boss-lady to the UPS store. DAV was impeding traffic in a dangerous way so I got out of the car to render assistance, and darn near got rendered myself!

I'm of the "better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it" school.

The WOT, IMHO is another reason to carry all the time. Everyone who is capable of it should be in condition yellow and practice headshots.
