How come the Libs like to compare the WOT to ‘Nam to show why we should leave... and then when we point out what would happen if it was “like ‘Nam” they keep quiet?
The answer is not at all surprising. The answer is that they pointedly ignore history if they don't like it. They want another ideological victory, the kind that will put us in another malaise and get us another Jimmuh Carter or worse.
With the Dems, it's all about power, they've already sold their souls and are willing to make a deal on their wife and kids, too if you're interested.
I was talking to Thornton recently and he said that I'm exactly right, and that he was surprised that conservatives knew that all the Libs really want is power. The libs simply assume we can't read what they write out every day.
