The US Government was NOT responsible for the hurricane, you morans. They were not responsible for the relief efforts either - the local communities and states didn't do their jobs.

You got it. They were told to leave and many just sat there and did nothing. Why did so many not buy flood insurance? And the Mayor bailed out on his people. Amazing.

I actually have the hard copy print-out of the NWS forecast from the Sunday before Katrina made landfall. It described the destruction in detail and not once was the word "may" or "possible" used.

and I dont believe it is the goverments job to know
I guess that is why I am not a democrat
just another attempt by the left to create more victims for big government to take care of
