More on 'Memo to Chertoff:

"153 miles of wall in place in Texas by the end of 2008."

"operational control" of the border by 2013 by building the 700-mile (1,120-km) wall along parts of the frontier and creating a "virtual fence" in desert areas with drones, sensors, cameras, satellite technology and vehicle barriers."

The border between the United States and Mexico is 2100 mile (3360 km). Texas-Mexico border is about 1200 miles. Looks like US citizens are getting short-changed ... even with drones and satellites still a bit of a gap. Like a fat man in a suit too small.

Guess any extra money to build the whole thing goes for Chertoff's Performance Bonus. Better deal than Gen. Pace got.

The extra money that was going to go for builidng the wall was given to Abbas and his particular faction of Philistines. Apparently, it is more imporant to keep some anti-Israel/anti-USA terrorist godfather and his mafiosi in power than protect tax-paying US citizens.
