What preps, they haven't done anything illegal. It says they have been slaughtering excess animals such as goats, sheep, pigs and deer. Get a grip, it's not your country.

If the perps have not done anything illegal, why did the zoo director get fired and an investigation under way?

I guess, like me, you are afraid that the ROP are up to their eyeballs in this scandal?

You really shouldn't lie about what is said, relieved of duties and fired are not the same thing. And the investigation is to see if anything was done wrong.

From the story,"Hettstedt pointed out that it was not illegal for zoo animals to be killed and sold. However a vet's permit is always needed."

And the people who slaughtered the animals were long time employees. At most they will be told to get proper permit and inspections in the future.
