How was Thompson VOTING record on Abortion?

Abortion was never put to an up or down vote when Thompson was in the Senate. He voted in favor of a few reasonable restrictions, but as far as I know he still stands by statements he's made that he wants abortion-on-demand to be legal in every state.

He has never said that.

You are lying again. At worst, he’s Federalist on the issues, which means overturn Roe and return the issue to the pre-1970s condition, which is the states.

Last time I checked Bush, the perfect pro lifer, hasn’t done that himself...(overturned Roe I mean)

“but as far as I know he still stands by statements he’s made that he wants abortion-on-demand to be legal in every state.”

You need to provide the source for those statements, AND the statements themselves. As far as I know, Thomspon has never stated that.

That should have read:

“... he wants abortion-on-demand to be legal in every state.”

I have never read such a statement by Fred Thompson. Do you have a specific source for this? He has said that Roe v. Wade is bad Constitutional law, and that the issue is one for the individual states to decide.

You are either wrong, or a POS disgusting liar. Since I don’t know you, I’m going to give you what you won’t give Fred. The benefit of the doubt.

On Foxsnooze’ Hannity and (I’m not ugly)Colmes Show, Fred said that he wants Roe overturned. Once that happens, abortion goes back to the states. At that point, for those of us that feel passionately about it, we will carry the fight to our state legislatures. Where it belongs.

Show me a quote where he says he supports that. You can’t because very single vote and statement made since he was first elected to public office makes it clear how he will govern when presented with this issue.
