AMARILLO, Texas, July 18 /Christian Newswire/ -- Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, today commented on this week's abortion protests conducted in Wichita, Kansas, by Operation Rescue and in Birmingham, Alabama, by Operation Rescue/Operation Save America.
"The crowds who stand peacefully for our nation's most helpless and vulnerable in Wichita and Birmingham are showing true Christian love for their brothers and sisters," said Fr. Pavone. "I am always proud to stand with them. We cannot just wish abortion away in our minds. We have to come to the places where the children are being killed and demand it to stop. Firefighters don't sit around the fire house and pray for an end to fires. They go where the fire is, to save lives."
Priests for Life is the nation's largest Catholic pro-life organization dedicated to ending abortion and euthanasia. For more information, visit www.priestsforlife.org.

Yes. Although I’m Catholic, and these organizations are run by Evangelicals, they are among the most effective pro-life organizations around. I have supported Operation Rescue and Survivors for a long time, now. This is certainly one area where Catholics and Evangelicals have stood together and often worked together.

Thanks, Wagglebee!
The Bishop in Sioux Falls is praying in front of PP here at least once a month. He was there last Thursday. We also have individuals from the Catholic church that are signing up on the Life Chain Link to pray at least once a month. Others, whom I have met while I am there, come as often as 3 times a week. The BOUND4LIFE chapter in Sioux Falls is there every Saturday for 1-2 hours during the lunch hour. Then there are individuals from other churches that come and pray at intervals as well.
It is first a spiritual battle, then a physical one...the more prayers going up on this, the more quickly it will end.
