Negative on that.

We need a method of knocking out satellites without blowing them up with a missile. Lasers would be better. Maybe a seek and destroy orbiting vehicle outfitted with a laser. WE cant have earth orbit space being scattered with debris. Too much debris would eventually knock out all satellites in orbit, including our own.

Yes that is true. Other energy weapons exist such as plasma to also do the same job. Lot’s of free solar energy for as much power as you need.

Negative to your negative. We are going to have to 1) harden our stuff and 2) clear paths for our stuff (minesweep?). Otherwise we’re vulnerable no matter what method we use to attack. And by the way lasers take a bunch of energy. They can work for a shootdown, but not to clear a path.
