“Meat smuggling” sounds like a euphemism for something else, but I can’t put my finger on it...

If you pull up the site you will find a story about ranchers who are going to begin raising moose. There is a market for 100 tons of moose a year in that nation.
I want to see the fences they use to keep moose confined.

I don’t know if the moose we ate there was wild or farm raised but it was delicious. In New Zealand they raise Red Stag (very much like our elk) for meat and the fences weren’t much more than the game fences you see here in Texas.
