155mm Excalibur shells
Nicely covered on an episode of Discovery Channel's "FutureWeapons".
It sure seems to be a leap forward in artillery in terms of precision,
accuracy and diminuation of collateral damage.

I saw that episode, they fired it about 15 deg. off of target and it still hit dead nuts on. I was wondering when we might be hearing about those...

I seen that show, it was amazing. A world away from what we had in the 60’s and early 70’s.

It sure seems to be a leap forward in artillery in terms of precision, accuracy and diminuation of collateral damage. Not to mention cost. Those things have to be, or will be, cheaper than missiles.
