I can’t donate to Ron Paul’s campain! I’m saving my money for the impending oil embargo waged against the United States by all the gulf and Arab states for invading Iraq. The one Ron Paul warned us about:

“U.S. relations with the Gulf states like Saudi Arabia could collapse should the United States initiate an attack on Iraq. Not only would our Saudi allies deny us the use of their territory to launch the attack, but a certain backlash from all Gulf and Arab states could well produce even an oil embargo against the United States.”

"In my opinion, RP has no credibility because of his silly conspiracy theories."

Would you tell me what conspiracy theories Ron Paul has put forth?

"Isolationism and passivism brought us 9/11."

Would you please explain to me how the United States was isolationist in the years leading up to 9/11?

"They sell us oil. Let them stew in their own putrid juices. As long as we get our oil, we don't care. Feed each other into industrial strength plastic shredders for all we care. Or feed each other to the lions. Whatever. Just as long as we get our oil."

This is a bit of drama that does sound vaguely like what a leftie would say, but with one key difference. I don't necessarily disagree with it. As long as they don't blow us up. I suppose we should have added at the end: "As long as you don't blow us up" but I suppose that was just an unsaid assumption.

You already know because you are a Ron Paul operative.

Let’s not go crazy and just keep voting for the status quo. That’ll really solve all our problems.

Good music is not often popular music. Ron Paul definitely has an indie appeal.

Pop music is garbage. Establishment candidates who sold-out their principles are also garbage.

It’s an attempt to blur the issue.
It isn't blurring the issue. It's what the law sets forth. In the law established they aren't called illegal drugs, they're called controlled substances. In the law established they are called aliens here illegally, thus illegal aliens.

The nuance is that Congress recognized the fact that they couldn't declare them illegal as that would be counter to the Constitution so they merely "control" them.

So, if they are only “controlled,” which is your favorite? That’s what I have been asking. I’m sure that most of those who want to legalize drugs... oops, I mean, uncontrol drugs, are users. So what do you use?

That is no answer.
I have defended Ron Paul in this forum and I will probably vote for him. I don’t have a bumper sticker or a yard sign and I don’t work on his campaign.
I wonder why you would use the term “operative”.

Posting a positive news item about Ron Paul is NOT the same as trolling. Anymore red herrings?

Why do you assume I have one?
I’m sure that most of those who want to legalize drugs... oops, I mean, uncontrol drugs, are users. So what do you use?
Oh, because I want controlled substances legalized I'm a user. Not because it's a budgetary waste, not because it's conducive to corruption, not because it spreads crime through the black market, not because it erodes our rights...I must be a user to want such a thing.
What you're doing is stereotyping. That is the only sure thing here.

So what do you use?
Logic. We both know what you use.

So you don't use drugs of any "controlled substances"? I didn't say you "must" be a user. It's just more likely.

Yes, I believe the likelihood of someone wanting to legalize drugs is a user. If you don't, you can say so, but so far you have avoided saying that.

Oh, because I want controlled substances legalized I'm a user.

Doesn't this imply that these "controlled substances" are now illegal? How logical is it to want to legalize something that not illegal? Somehow you don't seem logical to me.

I have been prescribed a couple of them in the past and have had some in association with surgeries I've had, but I'm not currently using any now.

Doesn't this imply that these "controlled substances" are now illegal?
Perhaps I should've phrased that better. Since only certain actions taken regarding controlled substances is what is illegal, like possession of a controlled substance. those actions are what I would like to see legalized. Better?
How logical is it to want to legalize something that not illegal?
Let me know if you get it now.

"Yer' all hat... no cattle."

Where did you get that saying?

Wouldn't it make more sense to say...

"Yer' all hat... no head"

or

"Yer' all hat... no boots" Just trying to help :)
