That my dear is a Shelby Cobra. Interesting you should mention Austin Powers. The Cobra was based on an English design AC motorcar, which Shelby bought, brought back to the states, and modified the body, and crammed a Ford engine in. First it was just a 289. He upped it to a 427 monster.

Ever hear Bill Cosby's album: "200MPH"? He's talking about the Cobra. Shelby made him a special edition. An honest to God 200MPG rocket that scared the holy crap out of Bill. He took it back to Shelby. LOL

A Cobra (like the one pictured) is also featured in the movie "Gumball Rally" where it takes on Ferrari.

Those babies are so classic and so sought after, you'd better have at least half a mil before even approaching an owner. And those too once sold new for around $3K.
