Like I said before, what’s a station wagon? Some relic from the 20th century? The reason ppl drive SUVs is because they don’t want to get stuck driving the MINIVAN all the time. They want something with similar storage/seating capacity but a little more sportiness to it, especially since ppl spend so much time in their vehicles commuting, etc. I don’t have kids so I don’t have to worry about it, but I thought I’d just clue you in that no one drives station wagons any more, and if you polled ppl under 21, they’ve probably never heard of one and don’t know what one is.

Ah, how quickly they forget. That is, indeed, a station wagon. What it is not, is a "Full-size station wagon," which is defined as a station wagon that will hold a 4x8 sheet of plywood and optionally has a third row of seats. They've vanished, due, as others rightly said, to CAFE. The SUV is the new kidmobile.
