An excellent book to read on this scumbag Ted Kennedy is “Senatorial Privilege”. The book is about 500 pages and has been out about 25 years. The Kennedy family went to great lengths to try and stop its publication and couldn’t. The book has got diagrams of how her body was found in the car, describing how he lay on his back looking at the stars trying to figure out how to save his sorry ass, going home and meeting with the family lawyers before calling the police. One of the interesting details in the accident was Kennedy was not in possession of a drivers license at the time of the accident and I believe at that time being involved in an injury accident without a license in Massachusetts was a felony. The state quietyly slipped Kennedy a license while the investigation was going on. Also in the book it pointed out that the district attorney purposely gave the grand jury the wrong instructions so that they would not indict Ted Kennedy.
Kennedy’s campaign motto - a blonde in every pond.
The difinative book is “Teddy Bare”. Although dated, it has all the facts and figures. Poor Mary Jo.
I read about half of this book back in the late 80's. It disgusted me so much after half of it, I never felt inclined to pick it back up.
