From the article: “”””A strong and concerted effort by Governments, the fishing industry, the conservation community and by the public which drives consumer demand, is required to put an end to pirate fishing operations in the Southern Ocean - otherwise the ecological sustainability of the toothfish is at risk. And Al Gore could choose something else to eat.””””

Al Gore is not the best example of ‘inconspicuous consumption”

So, was this fish caught by a legal, regulated fishing operation, of by one of the unregulated, “pirate” fishing operations? Can Algore demonstrate that he checked to make sure?

Gore will claim someone else picked the menu and he didn’t know. I wonder if he has a personal chef in his mansion?

Here's an interesting if irreverent story on this subject. Apparently Al got some of the enviro-friendly sea-bass. Probably paid for them with carbon offsets.

Gore's message loses bite

Not really. Gore and his message have remained consistent - Extreme Alarmist Environmentalism for thee, but NOT for me!!.

Nothing new here, folks, move along.
