The ultimate political stunt. They should be ashamed but aren’t intelligent enough to realize that. Using the troops and the WOT to try to jumpstart their momentum. The Dems are such an embarrassment to those who voted them into power again.

Thank God they’re taking this seriously. Our civil servants are working every day on other very important subjects.

Obviously, there are not enough hours in a day to devote to issue of how many troops should remain in Iraq and how many will need to be “redeployed”. So instead of putting this off they are pulling an all-night session.

Thank you, our elected representatives and your staff in the Senate for taking this issue seriously enough to work tirelessly 24/7 to solve it.

And please, keep it up. We have never had Congress with approval in single digits... In the spirit of next year Olympics, go for the gold!

The sight of them rolling in bed frames and mattresses, the sight of beds set up against the marble walls of the Capitol legislative halls, and the sight of Senators spreading out blankets was real theatrics. I am only sorry that this sight may be seen by our soldiers in Iraq. The hatred they are experiencing for these clowns will last in their hearts for years. May Almighty God give comfort not to these fools in the Senate but to our heroes in Iraq.
