Don’t fire until you see the white’s of their eyes..
I think after all this is over, Thompson needs to write “The Art of War in Campaigns”...

He had better be careful that he doesn’t wait too long. People are fickle. Advisers aren’t always right. And Republicans aren’t in much of a patient mood.

People are fickle Also apathetic and aren't really enthused about politicians campaigning now for an election next year.

You are so right. Im a Fred supporter today, tomorrow (if he waits overlong) I will move on. I need to get behind a candidate soon and spend my fundraising and proselytizing energies on someone who is willing to commit. May be early in the campaign, but everyone else has made their declaration and daylight is wasting.

I agree it is early for everyone, and I am all for slow and careful consideration. What hurts Fred is that everyone has been expecting the announcement for several weeks. I’m just listening to people and giving an assessment of the mood. In the big picture this might be good in that it will remind everyone that it is early and that they should not rush to judgment anyway. It just may not serve Fred well to wait much longer. In the age of technology, no one likes to wait for anything.

Right, if he is unwilling to make this decision, how can I expect him to make the big decisions as President? Lets move it Fred, before it is too late.

Fred can always answer “it was too early...” when asked about this time-taking. Personally, I’m sick of the continuous political campaigning. We can’t seem to ever shut it off.
To: Eric in the Ozarks
He can say, it was too early, but can his followers?
I agree with you on the constant political campaigning. Between local, state and national campaigns, seems all we hear about.

If this is true, it’s about time. I want to see Fred in the next debate. His debut will help the GOP get some favorable attention.

"I need help with listing the mistakes in Fred's voting record on the NumbersUSA site."Tell them that FRed has never, ever voted wrong on any issue except for CFR, and if he believes such a thing, he is simply dumb. Tell them that further postings of "mistakes" regarding FRed's voting record could summon the wrath of Chuck Norris if he continues.

Hopefully soon! Then they will put House MD back on. I like L&O, but House is my addiction. Not to mention, how good it will be having Fred in the race.

"What hurts Fred is that everyone has been expecting the announcement for several weeks." With all the FRiendliness I can muster, sincerely, the folks here on this great forum don't really make up "everyone".
As another already posted, most of the American electorate, other than the die hard political junkies, don't even know who is running, much less have formed an opinion on who they might vote for, if they vote at all.
I, a consummate political junkie have only watched one of the "dog and pony shoes" called debates.
Fred will do quite well, when he does make the jump.
