According to IMDB, Liam Neeson has signed on to play Abraham Lincoln.

I can confirm that. At a recent Civil War Roundtable meeting we had as featured speaker John Sellers, the curator responsible for, among other presidents, the Lincoln collection at the Library of Congress. He mentioned that Neeson had spent a couple of days with him doing some preliminary research. He'll make an interesting Lincoln.
