The FBI is investigating an alleged human smuggling operation based in Chaparral, N.M., that agents say is bringing "Iraqis and other Middle Eastern" individuals across the Rio Grande from Mexico.
An FBI intelligence report distributed by the Washington, D.C. Joint Terrorism Task Force, obtained by the Blotter on ABCNews.com, says the illegal ring has been bringing Iraqis across the border illegally for more than a year.
Border Patrol officials in the area said they were unaware of the specifics of the FBI's report, and federal prosecutors in New Mexico told ABCNews.com they had no current cases involving the illegal smuggling of Iraqis.
The FBI report, issued last week, says the smuggling organization "used to smuggle Mexicans, but decided to smuggle Iraqi or other Middle Eastern individuals because it was more lucrative." Each individual would be charged a fee of $20,000 to $25,000, according to the report.
The people to be smuggled would "gather at a house on the Mexican side of the border" and then cross the Rio Grande into the U.S., the report says.

You have? That is toooo funny! I watched some weekend marathon a couple of weekends ago, and hadn’t seen most of the episodes, or had forgotten them.
I also liked the one with the guy on some outer planet (it was filmed in Death Valley, lol). Anyway, he’s been falsely accused, and only gets company every three months or so... for about ten minutes at a time. I was thinking it’s too bad we can’t put the worst criminals out in space like that...
And then, from their bunkers and safe houses, they'll be able to point the finger at an inefficient bureacracy (that they created!) and say "oh, we didn't know." It's Pearl Harbor all over again.
BTTT!
Ed Royce, Republican Congressman is now reporting that the Department of Justice knows Hezbollah sympathizers are definitely among those that are being smuggled in illegally from Mexico.
The Congressman stated there is spreading trend of Mexican and South American Mosques, and they are actively recruiting the disenfranchised, Mexicans, and those from South American countries.
Congressman Royce just stated AlQuida is actively attempting to put their operatives into the United States through the Mexican border.

Knowing about it and doing anything about it are two different things...:0/
It was the 4th of July weekend. ;)
Anyway, hes been falsely accused, and only gets company every three months or so... for about ten minutes at a time. I was thinking its too bad we cant put the worst criminals out in space like that...
Excellent episode.
Are you quibbling! : )
You couldn't have. It's only been replayed a million times. : ) That is how it'll be like, though....like what happened during Katrina.
If one takes an oath, with one hand raised, and the other hand on the Bible, it should be expected that that person(s) should uphold that promise made before God. Especially if that person(s) has declared publically, that they are a Christian.
We trusted a promise, believing that a person who proclaimed to be a believer, would certainly do everything in their power to tell the truth and do everything in their power to follow through with that promise made before man and God.
Perhaps that is why so many are so disappointed, as they feel they have been lied to.
Agree. Even after the FBI Director noted that it was going on more than a year ago, nothing has been done. It makes one wonder how serious we are on the WOT.
You'll really enjoy this.
bump for publicity
Yes, it begs many questions that demand answers.
Nail. Hammer. Head.
Ok, ok, I stretched it a bit, a few hundred million times. Your numbers are wrong. Happy now? lol
You pretty much nailed my feelings on this.
I had heard all of this about Bush before. I stick up for him ,and felt that only liberals could say that.
After what I have seen in the past six weeks, I really am angry. I know now, that he has duped us all, and I was too blinded to check into the truth.
I just can't embellish upon anything you have said. You said it for me.
Yes. Precision please when processing. : )
Smarty britches! *blows raspberry*
We always said britches. We always use the vernacular, ya know.
