The FBI is investigating an alleged human smuggling operation based in Chaparral, N.M., that agents say is bringing "Iraqis and other Middle Eastern" individuals across the Rio Grande from Mexico.
An FBI intelligence report distributed by the Washington, D.C. Joint Terrorism Task Force, obtained by the Blotter on ABCNews.com, says the illegal ring has been bringing Iraqis across the border illegally for more than a year.
Border Patrol officials in the area said they were unaware of the specifics of the FBI's report, and federal prosecutors in New Mexico told ABCNews.com they had no current cases involving the illegal smuggling of Iraqis.
The FBI report, issued last week, says the smuggling organization "used to smuggle Mexicans, but decided to smuggle Iraqi or other Middle Eastern individuals because it was more lucrative." Each individual would be charged a fee of $20,000 to $25,000, according to the report.
The people to be smuggled would "gather at a house on the Mexican side of the border" and then cross the Rio Grande into the U.S., the report says.

I don’t think for a moment that the FBI and CIA would get involved in smuggling terrorists into the country.
My sentiments exactly. Instead of fighting for their homeland and building up their own countries, a large part of the world wants to come here, relax and enjoy the blessings of America without having lifted a finger for either America or their own countries. See Mexico, Central America, Africa and the Middle East. Yet they cling to the very cultural traits that made their own countries dysfunctional. See my tagline.
A year? Yeah right, for years. Well kiddies, this will hurt... but it’s good for you to know.

Here’s some food for thought. I saw this posted on here awhile back...you might find it interesting:
For a while now, and really, since shortly after the 2004 election, I have gotten emails from folks who say, Bush forgot that you have to dance with the one that brung you. Theyve been sending me that message for so long, on so many different issues, that I suspect Bush feels a little like a girl who is invited to a fancy ball - and proves to be excellent company for most of the night, despite being hated by many of the guests but manages to fall out of step, at which point she is abandoned on the dance floor and told to find her own way home.

Be intellectually honest enough to admit that in this immigration controversy there are (sadly) some who are using fear to move their agenda, and there are some (only some, but they hurt us all) who reveal bigotry in their rants. You neednt be offended if you can remember that there are those somes in every group; conservatives have no corner on perfection. You actually do have a choice as to how you receive what you hear, see and read, just as you have a choice as to how you receive a good, that is, with open or closed heart.

I think you have Jesus and Bush mixed up.
I do not like the way this is pushed. Selling our nation and its sovereignty out is not forgivable.
It is an issue that spoils any thing else he has done. Security and sovereignty, the adherence to the US Constitution trump all.
I do not see bigotry here, I see very wary US Citizens who have been beseiged by an invasion of people illegally. Thats what I see. I see a Government that is more interested in another nations people, than the ones they swore to serve. Sorry, take the list up there and foist it at someone who will buy it.
I know what you mean... I would like my money and time back from the 2004 campaign :(
I started to slowly see the globalist plan shortly after that... it's a BIG shock at first, like being yanked into an Alice in Wonderland hole or something, but even more frightening.
Now I'm at the point of being able to joke about it :)
He gazed up at the enormous face. Forty years it had taken him to learn what kind of smile was hidden beneath the dark moustache. O cruel, needless misunderstanding! O stubborn, self-willed exile from the loving breast! Two gin-scented tears trickled down the sides of his nose. But it was all right, everything was all right, the struggle was finished. He had won the victory over himself. He loved Big Brother.
I sat watching my cursor blink for a good two minutes trying to word my post in a way so as not to say something I shouldn't. After writing that previous sentence it tells me everything I need to know. Big Brother is Watching already.
I'm glad the government can't read my mind.
(Mind) Yet... lol! Until you get the chip!
Well... I'm not talking about Hillary.
God willing, I'll be dead before it's mandatory. :)
How does that line go? 'Do not not go qentle into that good night' The difference is, I'm not talking about getting old. ;
Carolyn
qentle, what the hell is qentle? I meant Gentle.
Fotflol!
The older she gets the more manly she looks.
Scary. And the more power she gets, the more evil I can see simmering under the surface.
Glad you caught it.
You're right, she's evil.
I hope you’re right. It sure seems like the plan is to alternate the Bushes and the Clintons forever.
Americans are tired of the Bushes and Clintons. Their time has passed.
Personally, I detest lettuce. And when any gets into the house by mistake and is leftover, I put it out, along with other edibles for the various animals who frequent my property - both wild ones and those belonging to my neighbors - and guess what NEVER gets eaten? It lays there and dries up under the spruce tree every time. I scrape it out of my tacos, when I go to Subway I order NO LETTUCE, etc. I guesss this contributes to my general low opinion of illegals.
