and the lefties want us to pull out of Iraq... pulling out will only help the terrorists, but we know who the Libs go to bat for.

Is it time for us to duct-tape our houses with plastic sheeting again? It’s gotten so hard to know who we’re supposed to be afraid of this month.

Who was that that caused the panic - do you remember? I hope he is no longer with us (meaning out of government).

The terrorist network Al-Qaida will likely leverage its contacts and capabilities in Iraq to mount an attack on U.S. soil,

and would those contacts be the media and liberal rats?

Shouldn’t they add the word “AGAIN” to the end of that title. Sure seems like some on the other side of the aisle always forget this FACT.

It was either John Ashcroft or Tommy Thompson.

Well, I think it was Tom Ridge's DHS. I think Saddam was going to fly anthrax-laced paper airplanes across the Atlantic to Kill Us All.

Excuse me, I have to go hide under the bed for a while until I calm down.

It's time to send that fool Chertoff packing. He's pathetic and works to obstruct law enforcement at our borders.

He's criminally negligent and the Senate should impeach him. It sounds like a nice bipartisan project to keep them busy.

Um don't forget your plastic wrap and duct tape. And make sure the room has no ventilation either...

I hate to ask (being a logical question and all) but I thought 'we were fighting them over there so we wouldn't have to fight them over here'. If 'they' are coming 'over here' anyway, what's the point of 'fighting them over there' anymore? Wouldn't our troops be better used protecting the borders from 'them' instead of trying to 'spread democracy' in a country that doesn't want it?

Reid is the one who wants out of Iraq. He has some chutzpah, criticizing Bush. God help us when a Democrat gets elected President.

So you are advocating retreat? I don't think that's a good idea. If you go around to all the bases here and in Europe there are plenty of military personel, along with stateside national guard to seal all the borders without bringing home a single soldier from Iraq.

Let's get on a national war footing, attack with everything we have in Iraq, smash the training bases in Pakistan and Iran and seal the borders here. Then victory would be ours.

I learned not to fall for that when my mother used to suggest I play with the plastic sheeting from the dry cleaning and show her how I could get my whole body wrapped up tightly inside of it. But Mom was a great cook.

I must ask you for your papers now. You will be interrogated at a secret foreign detention center until you can prove you are a loyal citizen of the Empire!

Well, just kidding. But of course the entire induced paranoia...ahem...national security thing falls to pieces when you start asking those questions.
