Al-Qaida Plans Nuclear Attacks on 7 U.S. Cities

Recently, FBI Director Robert Mueller, in an interview with NewsMax, confirmed Williams' main claim. Mueller said al-Qaida's paramount goal is clear: to detonate a nuclear device that would kill hundreds of thousands of Americans.

Mueller told NewsMax that at times, the threat feels so real he lies awake at night thinking about the prospect.

Williams maintains that al-Qaida is not content on blowing up one nuclear device or even simply a "dirty" nuke — but wants to explode real nuclear devices in seven U.S. cities simultaneously.

What I really don't understand is:

WHY SAN FRANCISCO ISN'T AT THE TOP OF THE LIST!

Proportional response= You destroy DC, we destroy Baghdad. You destroy New York, we destroy Tehran. You destroy LA and we destroy Riyadh. You destroy Memphis, we destroy Mecca. :D

If Bush were to fight back, he’d probably activate and send half our nuclear arsenal to the Middle East. We just have to make sure it doesn’t affect Israel.

Not if you live in one of those cities.

I don’t, but I would never wish nuclear destruction on my fellow Americans.

Unquestionably the most tasteless post ever.

we would be not only killing a million there alone but asking for a war with a religion for the rest of our nation’s history.

The war has already begun. We "asked" for it by our mere existence.

These people want to destroy us and our civilzation. They have said so repeatedly. Nuking Mecca will not cause them to hate us. They already hate us and have hated us since the days of the Crusades.

We should in fact make it clear to them that the slammite world will end on that same day, including Mecca, Medina, every “holy” city, every mosque, every one of the little hate schools, and the whole deal.

Or let it be known submarine captains can shoot their stuff without orders - and with nuked American cities, they'll probably do just that - bye bye Mecca.

I have to say that al-Qaida has chosen locations where moral deprivation and liberalism are most rampant.

No, you should apologize to Freepers for making such a statement. I don't think al-Qaida cares about whether their targets are liberal or morally deprived cities. (Ok, maybe Las Vegas!). The cities targeted were more than likely chosen for their economic and political value!

Personally, I no longer think that we have the intestinal fortitude to use our nuclear arsenal...even if one of our cities was nuked.

Does anyone know if our military ever added the neutron bomb to it’s arsenal? It’s been too long ago, but I still remember the ruckus it caused because it would kill every living being but leave the land and infrastructure intact without after effects, if I remember correctly. That seems to be exactly what we need now to counter any suitcase nukes. If they set them off here, we could neutron every Middle Eastern national capital, including Mecca and Medina and do it without after effects harming Israel.

The neutron bombs were removed from the inventory by Pres Carter.

To kill a snake, you cut off its’ head.

The head of this snake is not a place. The head is the group of wealthy men who finance their operations, while thinking themselves safe because of their positions.

The solution is to adopt a doctrine that nobody who financially supports the radicals is safe, and it doesn't matter if you are a member of a Middle Eastern "royal" family, or if you are a billionaire sheik bank owner.

The Ayatollahs of the world can issue fatwas on people? Fine, we can issue Letters of Marque and Reprisal and put out contracts on al-Queda's money men

The days of worrying about nuclear icbm’s hitting American soil are over. Sure, we can still be hit, but I’ve always chuckled when I’ve read about the missle shields. That’s 1950’s thinking. Today, with an open border, a 16 year old muslim can walk a nuke over here from Mexico in a backpack, walk up to a site and detonate. No warning. Or if you want to get really “sophisticated”, you can rent a U-Haul and drive it up to Disneyworld and walk away.

I always love the stories about Iran, and other countries having several years before they “develop” nuclear technology. That’s laughable. You don’t need to “develop” anything. Just walk over to Russia and have a few million dollars in your pocket. If I want a computer, I don’t have to learn how to build it from scratch, I just walk to Radio Shack.

This si a real threat, and one that I’m sure is being discussed in countries all over the world. We have more than one enemy. Also, when those nukes go off, we won’t know who hit us for a long time. it’s not like a bomb goes off and boom, you start shooting missles. Yes, Obama and Hillary are going to start lobbing missles. Right. They would investigate for months and by that time, our economy would disappear. 2 airplanes slamming into 2 buildings took a trillion dollars out of the economy. Some suitcase nukes would end the US once and for all. And then, the world would celebrate, with the exception of Israel and Austrailia, depending on whether or not the Mulims have taken over Oz before then. In that case, only Israel will mourn us.

crazy plan...one nuke in one city will cause ALL Americans to go ballistic. If our leaders would not use our arsenal of nukes to retaliate, the people would march on Washington, remove the president, then ask the VP what he was gonna do...

Look at a map of the AFMP (Alaska Federal Mosquito Preserve), which is 99% of Alaska. We remember Carter for making that reality.

Read up on the Maxim gun

By coincidence, I was doing that just yesterday (Omdurman, 1898: 11,000 of the Mahdi's boys dead, 16,000 wounded, at a cost of 48 British dead. Later memorialized by the schoolboy rhyme:

"Whatever happens, we have got

The Maxim Gun, and they have not"
