Another interesting aspect of the Howie Carr/Entercom divorce is what becomes of his domain name which, acc. to a WHOIS search, is registered to Entercom Communications of Bala Cynwyd, PA. Can he reclaim it because it's really HIS name? Maybe he'll have to launch another domain name when he gets to WTKK.

My bet is that if Entercom keeps the name, it will simply redirect to the WRKO homepage even though he may be employed down on Morrissey Blvd. instead...

Howiecarr.com currently has an error message up there but you can still get to Howie's page thru the WRKO site (which is where it was all along). HowieCarr.com is set to expire in 2012. Meanwhile, HowieCarr.org is registered to a "Three Seas Management", address 116 Huntington Ave. (FORMER WRKO building) and Howie is listed as administrator.
