Unfortunately, the above link isn't stable because when you do a search in the Thomas Register it only provides a temporary link. To see it on the site, copy the name of the bill and search that way.

More gun-grabber legislation in the works! Time to make your calls to stop this bill from going anywhere. I found this bill when I was looking at H.R. 2640 and noticed this comment by Holt in the record....

"I am also offering my own legislation, H.R. 2666, Blair's Bill, which will create a national gun registry and licensing procedure so we can finally begin to get a grip on the deadly issue of gun violence that has devastated so many of our communities across the country."

Yup, registration will stop a 15 year old MS13 member from shooting a rival for dissing his grillz.

The only thing it will do is prevent honest citizens from protecting themselves!

Here comes the registration of your long guns, and the liberals said they are not out to take away firearms from Americans - ya, and pigs can fly too!

You and I and anyone who is honest knows that. Gun control is not about guns - it’s about control!

From the Idaho State Constitution: No law shall impose licensure, registration or special taxation on the ownership or possession of firearms or ammunition.

I'm sure other States have similar statutes. Gonna be a bit of a problem there.

“Guns don’t devastate communities...people do”

Here, let me fix this...

“Guns don’t devastate communities...people Democrats do”

There, isn't that better?

Is it time for a melt down of the phone lines to congress over their attempt to eliminate the second amendment protections in the US Const.?

Have the liberals forgot that they lost control of the US House and Senate after forty (40) years over their “assault weapons ban” in 1994?

Time for another sweep of the liberal gun grabbers?

That's never stopped the demonRATS before.

Yes, then they must rely on government, not themselves or neighbors. I think that’s the goal.

Thanks for going to the trouble to get this up, 2A Mama---They never stop do they?

Freepers, we need to get those phones, faxes, and emails going--and don't let up!--Starting with Mr. Rush. Let's let him know that he's really stepped in it now! Keep all the lines clogged!

, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

Someone needs to startup a class action civil rights suit.

Not to worry. Doesn’t stand a chance now or in the future. “The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” This is infringement.

Domandred..you mentioned ammunition on your post. We FReepers must be aware of pending OSHA rules to re-define explosives to include small arms ammo. This pending rule (Comment period has been extended to Sept 10th I believe) is nothing more than a back door attempt to control AMMO which will control the useage of small firearms. GO TO the NRA home page and click "legislation" to learn more. We must beat this proposal down.

So, in your mind the 20,000 plus other gun laws on the books weren't infringements? Obviously, it never stopped congresscritters from infringing before....duh!
