No they aren’t. They know that nobody is going to stick up for Israel, and they know that Israel has lost much of its shine as ass kickers after their inept adventure last summer.

Truth is, this is a great time to try to defeat their longtime enemy, particularly if their attack is prefaced by a limited nuclear strike. Israel isn’t as tough as its press clippings have always suggested, and her big tough brother the USA is weak and distracted. The dems will block the US from intervening on Israel’s behalf, the president has never been weaker.

Not saying I advocate it, but Iran isn’t asking for anything. They are preparing to call the USA’s bluff, and roll over a weakened Israel.

That is, unless the Israeli’s can dig extra deep and demonstrate that last summer was just a fluke. I’m rooting for them, but honestly my expectations are low.

Agreed and posted almost identical thought. Also a reality our enemies know: Wars cost money. Depressions drain money. Stop the flow of oil even temporarily the USA gets a depression and the little satan is conquered. Even if the supply from say Saudi Arabia and Kuwait remains intact you get a $7.00 price per gallon during such an event and for sometime afterward. Not to mention the millions of casualties when Tehran & Damascus are vaporized in retaliation for an attack on Tel Aviv. They try it and die for it, though the price tag leaves the proxy states upstream Russia and China very happy indeed and ready to make their own moves...
