I try to share only that which is helpful and relevant to the people and discussion at hand. The foundation for our Christan lives, I believe, is to know God as a good God and his overflowing, never-ending, unconditional love and grace towards us. Some mistake this to be contradictory to the reality of trials, persecution, and suffering in our lives, but careful reading of the New Testament (ex. 2 Cor, 1 Peter, James, etc,) as well as the OT (Job, Psalms, etc.) shows that God has great purposes for difficulties and suffering in our lives. His purposes are entirely benevolent towards us (Eph 2:7).
But God's benevolent purposes change to wrath at the onset of the 7-year Tribulation, which I've referenced scripture, he does not intend for us. This again is good news. The cross is a plus sign not a minus sign.
Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things (2Tim 2:7).
God Bless.
Thanks Jim for the encouragement.
