The headline says beheading are on the rise. So I’m guessing the objection is to beheading. But how is that worse than over forms of capital punishment?

Yep...that would win world opinion even more than our current actions have. As much as I like Robin Williams' view of foreign policy, it isn't terribly realistic.
The way I see it, they owe us for 2 skyscrapers and about 20,000 killed and wounded since 2001.
They need to cut the price of oil in half as reparations or we should just take it from them.

The Saudi Princes pay the terrorists to leave them alone, this is true, however, stoning, beheading, or disfiguring by amputation is mythical law to keep people in line - women have hardly any chance to live what we in the west call normal and productive lives. Nor will they until enough of them rise up and say No More to the false priests/mullahs who ravage young women for their own pleasure....and husbands who regularly beat their wives and daughters for what ever the reason real or imagined. Young children are taught to hate anyone who does not believe as they do….undoing that is going to be the woman’s job and they had better get about modernizing Islam however they can ASAP.
