The man is becoming a conspiracy nut.

I know at least two close friends who I used to think were conservative (and they would say they still are) who support Ron Paul also believe a lot of liberal garbage (e.g., that W was behind 9/11, that the moon landings were faked, that the U.S. has provoked the Muslims to be our enemies).

They despise Bush as much as any liberal, but they are extremely conservative on social issues. It’s so weird, because they seem to be drifting further and further into this weird la-la land. And, they think that I’m too “liberal” because I don’t agree with them. It’s like they have this weird mental sickness (BDS?). I just don’t know what to think.
