I remember a diversity training course I had once. It was a three day session. I decided to be the bad guy, and challenged virtually everything he said. It was so much fun. After breaks the “facilitator” was always disappointed that I returned.
Hah! When I was in the Navy, they had some BS class, "Rights and Responsibilities" or some such rot. .
One of the facilitators was a black senior chief, (E-8). He was railing about the Klan, saying that the Klan was active in the Navy. I brought up the Nation of Islam. I asked if he thought they were racist. I suggested that he use NOI as an example, rather than the KKK.
I then added, that is if he thought that black people could be racists.
The exchange was pretty heated. I thought he was going to have a stroke.
Having hired a few UVM grads over the years and found a good number of them to be sore excuses for college grads, I wrote him that his first priority should be "EDUCATION"!
No response.
I'm so glad I left that mindless corporate environment years ago.
LOL! My police agency was required to go through this nonsense. If I recall, I calculated that about one million man hours were wasted on this crap. The class consisted of the usual white males bad, everyone else victims. We pretty much tore the instructor a new one.
Good for you for being a thorn in their side. My husband endured dt once at a University — a short-lived job — and came home LIVID. Let’s see — the government pays people with taxpayer money to berate white males. Stinks to high heaven.
I was successful at avoiding it.....until I retired.... The word "Diversity" nauseates me....
I choose to believe we are all more alike than different....and NO...your skin color does NOT make you entitled to special consideration.
well, don’t hold back lol. What did you do and say? It would help others here.
