You should of been in the Army in the late ‘70s. John Candy’s platoon in the movie ‘Stripes’ would of been a ace unit. The instruction manuals were literally freak’n comic books.

In a manner of speaking, I was in the Army in 1979. That’s the year I joined the Army National Guard. You are right - things were really a joke at that time. But as the ‘80s went on, there was a huge change for the better. I was on active duty between ‘83 and ‘88.
