I know trophy wives and this occasion does not apply. I suspect
major jealousy by the DemocRAT bearded women.
My idea of a trophy wife is a much younger woman married to a successful man. Their marriage is a perpetual honeymoon with NO children. She spends money, has no job, and is eye candy, not much in the brain department.
A professional woman who marries and has children becomes a mother, therefore she does not equate, in any way, with a trophy wife.
The left is exhibiting Fear of Fred syndrome. ;^)
The children cement the deal for the wife should a divorce happen. Children (whether born to rich or poor women) are a guarantee in Family Court of a "better" division of the wealth. They work much better than having just been married to the man so far as future income goes.
I don't like the whole idea of young women marrying old wealthy men. I don't believe it is about love whether Larry King does it, Donald Trump did it, Tony Randall did it, or even Fred Astaire did it. I don't believe Anna Nicole Smith "just" loved 89 year old billionaire Marshall and didn't care a thing about his money. If anyone believes any of these other incredibly young women really "just" love these incredibly wealthy old men, I've got a bridge for sale. That includes the Thompson marriage and I wouldn't vote for Fred just based on knowing about his May/Decemeber marriage. If a man has no sense in his private life, how much sense can have anywhere else?

Two children make this real. And healthy children’s too as far as I know. Real trophy wife is for sex without any complications such as pregnancy. She will be lunching with vapid girlfriends, will be golfing or taking tennis lessons instead of looking after the children
