FYI...Victor David Hansosn has a great piece about illegal immigration and the borders in today’s Washington Times. A must read. Not sure if it’s been posted here..I’m off..

It took me a while to accept it- but this amnesty fetish is about the formation of a North American Union. There are plenty of resources available to research it.

It sure is....glad you saw the light!!!

Either FR has yet to ‘come around’ or is intentionally playing the ‘keep the focus on the pieces game’

I have my own thoughts on that, but will refrain from stating them.

So.... if we allow millions more of these parasites into our country without much more than a cursory (feel-good) back ground check.... that can only mean that sooner or later....most likely sooner... we will ALL be subject to much more draconian laws.... to keep all of us serfs in line.

Apparently no one in government has the mental capacity to think these things through.

Of course they have "thought these things through". They know exactly what they're doing and the outcome you describe is precisely what they intend.

It’s like they want terrorist to obtain legal citizenship.

Then they can be "home grown". See, America produces terrorists too! Blackbird.

“We need to define this bill in very simple terms so we can relay this info to others.

People understood ‘no amnesty’.....

..and now they need to understand very specificly what this bill means and and they need talking points when they make their calls.”

OK...let’s try these talking points:

*AgJOBS bills, which would provide amnesty to illegal alien farm workers, were re-introduced in the Senate and House under Bill numbers S. 237, S. 340, and H.R. 371.

*Under the provisions of these bills, ILLEGAL alien farm workers would be able to obtain a “blue card” granting temporary legal status for themselves AND their families.

*AgJOBS is an amnesty that would reward people who have violated U.S. immigration laws.

It would:
+invite past violators to return
+encourage new illegal aliens to enter the United States
+invite fraud
+ensure that agricultural workers will never be paid more than minimun wage

*AgJOBS would ensure that taxpayers continue having to subsidize the workers and their families by providing public benefits of education, emergency health care, and income supplements (including tax refunds) for the workers and their families.

*In February 2004, Alan Greenspan announced that America has an OVERSUPPLY of low-skilled, low-educated workers. (“Greenspan Calls for Better-Educated Workforce,” Washington Post, 21 February 2004).

In other words, America already has enough people to do these types of agricultural jobs. They have to sit in the unemployment line BECAUSE COMPANIES INSIST ON HIRING PEOPLE WHO ARE HERE ILLEGALLY.

OK Freepers, there’s your talking points.

Let’s start calling Congress until we smell the bacon frying (multiple endentres intended)!!!!!

Apparently, and I say this through the eyes of one that has been following this for many years, the administrations that have let this issue go on unheeded have an agenda that is not "from the consent of the governed."

Might I remind those government and White House and Congress lurkers that the phrase "from the consent of the governed" comes from the Declaration of Independence, a document which resulted in an intercontinental war.

Just a FYI… for all the White House and Congress lurkers that are here.

WOAH....TANCREDO IS A CO-SPONSOR???

His whole thing on commercials here in Iowa is "Never, ever giving amnesty to illegals". It's basically the ONLY thing he is running on.

“I have yet to figure out why any American citizen would do that.”

All evidence appears this Congress will enact legislations in favor of, and without the consent of the governed towards the goals outlined in the following links.

Amnesty is a must for this diabolical plan that virtually changes the World as we know it to work.

The plan must be stopped for no other reason than it has been concocted by special interests with no regard for our Constitution other than how to skirt it.
