Yes they do have reason to fear, but then again, not really. They can likely depend on American's to do as they have ever done and engage in the popularity contest and elect yet one more they can complain about afterwards, and be surprised when their "dream candidate" turns out not to be so dreamy. The media and the polls have already told us who are the best. All we need now is for a few of us to show up on election day and bleat our approval. If I seem a little cynical and diffident of the electorate, I am.
