Bush tried to engineer a political initiative, the amnesty bill, that would have destroyed the culture, territorial integrity, infrastructure, economy, and Constitution of the United States. Further, he, together with the Republicans in Congress, made a mockery out of fiscal conservatism.

Now, I support the war, I applaud the tax cut, and (so far) I’m thankful for his appointments to the Supreme Court. Even with these achievements, Bush should thank Jimmy Carter for keeping him from being America’s worst president.

Let's see, great on defense, great on the economy and great appointments to the USSC --terrible president--gosh, you're hard to please.

... I applaud the tax cut...

You mean the tax cut that is going to sunset?

That's what burns my butt about Bush. His domestic agenda & leadership has been, and still is, in the toilet. We gave him BOTH HOUSES of Congress for crying out loud, and he didn't do jack with it.

Yes Roberts was a good pick for SCOTUS, but only after we raised Bloody Hell over Harriet.

But Bush is nipping at Carter's heels and I think Laura is right.
