Cream came to LA's Shrine Exposition Hall (next to the famous Auditorium) in 1967 or '68. I stood right next to Eric Clapton's giant floor speaker.
I've brightened up some since then.

I stood right next to Eric Clapton's giant floor speaker. So do you lip read, or use sign language?

One of my first concerts was Foreigner in the early ‘80s. I’ll never forget a guy passed out head first in a bass bin for most of the show. He would be an interesting case study.

I used to go to the Shrine in 67 and 68. I heard some great bands and music there. I didn’t see Clapton but I saw CTA (Chicago Transit Authority), Quicksilver, Grateful Dead, Big Brother and the Holding Company, Spirit, Love and many many more. That was the early days for sure.

Saw Cream on their Good Bye Tour at Veteran’s Auditorium in Des Moines, IA. Acoustics were awful but I don’t think anyone complained.
