You are completly ignoring that it is the left like Senators Kennedy, Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid, Speaker Pelosi etc who want amnesty for the illegals because that would mean votes for demomcrats. President Bush only wants what he thinks is good for the country

There is no reason to even comment on Kennedy and the lot. They have no interest in improving this county. Your thread was about president Bush. He can not be classified as conservative. He may be Republican, but his attitude about illegals takes him off the conservatives role. It was president Bush, not me or most other quests at this site, that was pushing the Kennedy, McCain amnesty bill.If he thinks letting the country get flooded by illegals is good for the country he is wrong. If he thinks letting trucks from Mexico on our highways is good for the country he is wrong.Many of the presidents goals I support. But letting this country get flooded by illegals and continue to not close the border are serious failures, that frankly can’t be accepted.

I am happy he is a good and decent man. I was called that once.
