Why not sue for defamation/libel? I believe Murtha made these statements away from the House floor. If so, I don’t believe he would be entitled to legislative immunity. Ramp up the consequences for this kind of tripe.
SSgt Frank Wuterich has brought a defamation suit against murtha and hopefully more of them will. I don’t know much about this type suit or if it will go forward till the Articles 32’s or courts-martials are completed.
